The idea was to build a bridge so that Jo could be invested in the middle of it. The older Scouts started from one end. The design was interesting, and possibly slightly over engineered, but really not that bad. While the older Scouts anchored their end to a bush the Ventures decided one single stake would suffice. We suggested this might not be enough, but they continued anyway. And Ian ended up flat on his face in the stream (hehehe). Never mind, they'll know better next time.
Despite the large amount of dampness, Jo was invested in the middle of the bridge anyway.
